Losing Teeth

In the past two days, Haise has lost TWO of his eye teeth... and I found them both... bloody and on the floor.  Here they are :)  I'm just happy those sharp things are out!

So our toothless Haise is being a little moody... He is probably in pain!  He still goes out with us (and hates to walk), but he loves to sleep under our feet!  Below is a picture of him after dinner one night.  He was happy to be home and with his orange toy.

Haise - 16 weeks

I was on a work trip all week, so Brian had the joy of being a "single parent".  He said Haise was constantly needing his attention and barked at him when he did other things.  Other than that, Haise had a good report.  When I got home, I was expecting Haise to be super excited and cry (Lele and Miley always cry), but all I got was a wagging tail for a minute or two.  Then he went on to his exciting life of sleeping.  Oh well.

We tired him out by playing outside, and he now has a new favorite spot in the house (since the AC is now on):

He just loves car rides:

4 Months and 38.4 Pounds!!!

Haise turned 4 months old yesterday (April 15, 2011).  He also had his four month vet appointment and weighed in at 38.4 pounds, yikes!  He really doesn't eat that much, but he sure does grow.  We actually struggle to make him eat, which I think is very weird...

Haise's new thing is laying down wherever we go and putting on the brakes. It's a struggle to make him move.  Yes, it's cute, but oh goodness, very annoying.  This week he has been to Costco, Target, Kroger, Hobby Lobby, the vet, and the gym.

Pictures from this week:

Haise sleeps on his back - Haise's new bed, the bathroom floor.

Haise lays by his water after long, hot walks - Wet dog on the couch.  Don't worry, he was invited to get on the couch...

Cute puppy :)

Beach and Baseball

Aunt Becky Haygood came to visit Richmond this past weekend.  Haise had so much fun!  On Friday night, Haise visited the Alfred Angelo dress shop to find a bridesmaid dress for Becky and Meghan.  The store was full of mirrors, and Haise had a good time growling at his reflection.  We're going to have to fix that...

Then we went to Maggiano's Little Italy for dinner and he slept all dinner :)

On Saturday, we drove to Fredericksburg (1 hour north) to visit Brian's parents.  We ate lunch at O'Charleys.  Haise sprawled across the aisle since not very many people were there.  Everyone thought he was so cute.  Saturday night was Haise's first baseball game:  The Richmond Flying Squirrels!  He walked very nicely and found a cozy spot under our bleachers.

On Sunday, we drove to Virginia Beach (2 hours east).  Haise LOVED the sand!  We let him dig since he can't dig in our backyard.  We tried to introduce him to the ocean, but the moving waves sort of freaked him out.  The water was cold, so he didn't actually get in.

Photoshoot with Haise

Haise got a special photoshoot on Monday, April 4.  He was 14.5 weeks old and 34.7 pounds.

34.7 Pounds!

Haise and I took a walk to the vet today.  We want him to like the vet, so they told us to stop by once a week or so.  He gets weighed and has fun ride on the moving table. This way when he's 100 pounds, he's not afraid of the table.  Today, he weighed 34.7 pounds!!!  2 weeks ago, he weighed 27 pounds. Yikes!

Walking to the vet!

Hot and tired after our walk to the vet!  34.7 pounds!!!

This is Haise on March 25, 2011.  He didn't quite understand the "Pull" concept.  Now he does!

Yes, I know he shouldn't be allowed on the seat.  But he was so adorable.  We went to the mall on March 26, 2011 and everyone loved him (but didn't get to pet him!).

Haise at his second restaurant, Red Robin on March 27, 2011.

Haise hardly ever sleeps in a ball, so I had to take this picture.  So cute :)  March 27, 2011

Memphis

Haise took a trip to Memphis for his Aunt Becky's wedding :)  He had a total of four plane rides and met his sisters Miley and Lele.  He had so much fun and was so polite the whole trip!  Pictures will tell the story...

Haise had a spa day with the girls.  He loved sleeping on the cold floor.

Haise was ready to go home by the end of the weekend!
